Job Description:
CNC Machinist
Location: Southend
Salary: Up to £14.61
Hours: Day Shift Monday - Friday
Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team, responsible for producing high-quality small-batch components to precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manufacture a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to tight tolerances using horizontal and vertical machining centres.
*Use a wide range of measuring equipment to inspect components after manufacture.
*Complete all tasks allocated by the Supervisor promptly and efficiently.
*Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area.
*Support team members with additional tasks as required.
*Contribute to a safe working environment and adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.
*Perform final drilling of machined components from engineering drawings within tight limits.
*Deburr and pack machined components to specification.
*Carry out other reasonable tasks within manufacturing areas, including Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication.

*Proven experience in CNC machining and working to tight tolerances.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*Strong understanding of measuring equipment and quality standards.
*A proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
*Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment
