Description
This Management Accountant role will report directly to the Financial Controller, this role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of the full management accounts process and play a key part in shaping the finance function as the company continues its growth journey. Responsibilities will include:
*End-to-end preparation of monthly management accounts
*Production of accurate and timely weekly reports for senior management
*Updating and maintaining financial dashboards to support decision-making
*Oversee stock forecasting and integration with purchasing function
*Ensuring accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the general ledger and payables ledger
*Enforcing financial controls and improving processes where needed
*Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and business initiatives
*Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide insight and financial support
*Ability to process a monthly payroll
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* *Strong technical background in accountancy and finance, with experience in accounting compliance
*Part/newly qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and management reporting
*Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
*Highly tech-savvy, with confidence in Excel and modern accounting/reporting tools
*Adaptable, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
*Positive "can-do" attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
