Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment are currently recruiting a skilled CNC Machinist to join a high-performing machining cell within a clean, modern manufacturing environment. You’ll be working on small to medium-sized components made from high-value exotic alloys, using CNC Turning and Honing machines to tight tolerances.
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £32,480 + Overtime
Shifts: Rotating Mornings and Afternoons
Job Type: Permanent
Industry: Precision Engineering / Manufacturing
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be responsible for:
*Setting, operating, and editing existing CNC programs
*Working on small to medium-sized turning projects
*Operating to fine tolerances across a variety of high-value components
*Maintaining high quality standards and full documentation
*Working to production schedules to meet output targets
*Completing planned health & safety checks
*Supporting team leaders/managers with additional reasonable tasks as required
Requirements:
*Experience in CNC Turning is essential
*Ability to set, operate, and edit programs
*Experience with Okuma OSP, Fanuc, or Mazatrol controls preferred
*Familiarity with honing machines and processes would be a distinct advantage
*Experience working with exotic alloys is desirable but not essential
*A team player with a flexible and adaptable approach
*Strong attention to detail
*Good written and verbal communication skills
*Able to multi-task and follow structured processes
*Literate, numerate, and confident using MS Office
