Job Description:
Are you a Quality Assurance Engineer? Do you have experience using hand held measuring equipment? Are you able to travel to client sites in the UK?
If so a global leader of special purpose vehicles is looking to expand their quality team with a Quality Assurance Engineer position!
Quality Assurance Engineer
Permanent Position
Mon-Thurs (8.30am to 4.30pm) and Friday (8.30am to 4pm)
Flexi-time available
Kirkbymoorside or Aberdeen (60% Travel in the UK)
Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description:
*Inspecting fabricated and machines components to engineering drawings both on and off site.
*Verifying mechanical, machining and weld materials based upon drawings and specifications
*Delivering non-conforming registers for each unit.
*Preparing certification packages as required
*Travelling extensively to supplier and customer sites to ensure conformance of materials and products (60% UK Travel)
Quality Assurance Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
*Must be able to read technical drawings
*Proven quality inspection experience both for components and materials
*Full Driving license and willingness to travel to client sites including Aberdeen, Birmingham and other locations.
