Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and dedicated Transport Administrator to join our busy and expanding transport office. This role is perfect for someone looking to progress and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Work closely with the transport team to organise and plan the daily operations of our fleet.
*Maintain high levels of communication within the team and with external contacts to ensure efficient transport operations.
*Utilise your geographical knowledge of the UK to enhance route planning and logistics.
*Organise and process orders from customers, fulfilling requests and ensuring high levels of customer service.
*Liaise with drivers to manage daily requirements and address any issues that arise.
*Report to the operations manager to ensure smooth and efficient running of day-to-day duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
*Strong organisational skills and a high level of customer service.
*Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
*Experience in transportation management systems is preferred but not required.
*Must hold a valid Driving Licence.
