Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a high-performing, forward-thinking wealth management team. You will be based in either the Ipswich or Norwich office with the flexibility of hybrid working.
The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting Wealth Managers and delivering high-quality technical work. Responsibilities include:
*Preparing detailed financial plans, suitability reports, and recommendation documents
*Supporting client review meetings and new business preparation
*Conducting research across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
*Ensuring advice aligns with client goals, risk tolerance and compliance requirements
*Reviewing portfolios and maintaining accurate client records
*Liaising with Wealth Managers, support teams and product providers to ensure smooth delivery of advice
*Contributing to ongoing improvements in advice processes
*This position also offers opportunities to expand into leadership, project work, and wider business initiatives for candidates who wish to broaden their responsibilities.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
*CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
*Solid experience as a Paraplanner
*Strong technical knowledge of financial planning principles, pensions, investments and tax wrappers
*Excellent attention to detail and high-quality report-writing skills
*Confident communication and relationship-building abilities
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
*A proactive mindset and passion for delivering exceptional client service
