An opportunity has arisen for a technically strong Finance Director to join a diverse and growing privately owned group. Operating across multiple entities, the organisation has a strong track record of success and a broad commercial footprint.
This is a senior leadership role with oversight of the central finance function, coordination of group-wide financial activity, and responsibility, governance, operational excellence and the most profitable delivery across all entities within the group.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and develop the central finance team while working closely with subsidiary finance functions
*Deliver robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the group
*Produce consolidated reporting and analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
*Oversee statutory accounting, tax, audit, and internal controls
*Manage cash flow, optimise working capital, and monitor capital structures
*Ensure strong governance and compliance across all financial operations
*Support senior leadership with timely financial insight
*Drive alignment and consistency across the wider finance structure
*Ensure GDPR compliance and proactive risk management within the group.
Candidate Profile:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience
*Strong track record in senior finance roles within complex or multi-entity businesses
*Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
*Experience in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement
*Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
*Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
