Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Team Manager to join their Leaving Care Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Lead and manage a team of social workers and personal advisors, providing supervision and performance oversight.
*Ensure statutory duties under the Children Act 1989 and Care Leavers’ Regulations are met.
*Oversee the development and implementation of Pathway Plans for care leavers.
*Promote positive outcomes in education, employment, housing, and health.
*Ensure robust safeguarding practices and risk management for young people.
*Build strong partnerships with housing providers, education services, health professionals, and voluntary agencies.
*Monitor and audit casework to ensure compliance with legislation and local policies.
*Manage team budgets and resources effectively.
*Contribute to service development and policy improvement.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
