Location: Maidenhead

CRA Consulting is delighted to be representing a leading and well-established law firm based in Maidenhead, in their search for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their dynamic and supportive conveyancing department.

Key Responsibilities *
Communicate professionally with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in person.

Conduct solicitor and client due diligence checks.
*
Request, chase, and manage essential documentation for transactions.
*
Log correspondence and maintain accurate records in the case management system.
*
Draft sale contracts, remortgage documentation, and completion statements.
*
Liaise with lenders regarding sale and purchase matters.
*
Support the team in meeting departmental SLAs and KPIs.
*
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations.
*
Perform general administrative duties, including answering telephone enquiries.
*
Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
*
Demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail in all aspects of file management.
*
Undertake additional duties where required to support the wider team and firm.
About You
You’ll be a confident communicator with a genuine passion for delivering excellent client care. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing your workload efficiently while supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
This position would suit someone with prior administrative experience-ideally in a legal or conveyancing setting-or someone eager to build a career within property law.
Essential Skills & Experience *
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Previous experience in an administrative role.
*
Competent user of MS Office and email systems.
*
Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
*
High attention to detail and accuracy.
*
Proactive approach and strong teamwork skills.
*
Excellent client care and telephone manner.

Desirable:

Previous experience within a conveyancing or property law environment.
*
Familiarity with case management systems or online portals.
