Job Title: Architectural Technician/ Technologist
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £30-38,000

Daily Duties
*Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and working documentation
*Develop construction information in coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants
*Ensure compliance with building regulations, technical standards, and quality requirements
*Assist in the preparation of planning and building control submissions
*Conduct site visits to advise on buildability, detailing, and technical resolution
*Maintain CAD/BIM standards and oversee drawing accuracy and quality control
*Contribute to tender documentation and project handover packages
*Support junior technicians and drafters with guidance and mentoring
Ideal Candidate
*Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology / Technician discipline (HNC/HND or degree)
*Proven experience delivering technical outputs on medium to large-scale projects
*Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD)
*Several years UK based experience in a Technical role
*Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, construction detailing, and specification writing
*Excellent coordination and communication skills with architects, engineers, and contractors
*Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-focused
*Confident undertaking site visits and translating technical issues into practical solutions
*Collaborative, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality, buildable architecture
