Office Administrator
Annual Salary: £27,000
Location: Kirkstall, Leeds
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reed is recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company based in Leeds. Our client is seeking a reliable, confident, and well-organised Office Administrator to enhance the team dynamics in a casual and relaxed office environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Answering telephone calls and managing communication
*Sourcing suppliers for new projects and negotiating rates for materials such as muck away, concrete, and aggregates
*Placing orders for site necessities including fuel, hiring plant and machinery, cabins, and skips
*Assisting the Health & Safety Manager in preparing files for new projects
*Managing plant and vehicles, including booking services, repairs, and MOTs
*Booking accommodation for site-based operatives
*Organising training courses and managing the training matrix
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
*A driving licence is desirable but not essential
