Office Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon–Thu 8:30–5:00, Fri 8:30–2:30, with some flexibility)
Benefits: Pension, 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, bonus scheme in development
The Company We’re exclusively recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing organisation in Nottingham who are looking to appoint an Office Manager. This is a varied and hands-on role, perfect for someone with strong organisational skills and a can-do attitude who enjoys working across different areas of the business.
The Role As Office Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while supporting core business functions. This is a broad role with responsibilities across administration, purchasing, compliance, HR, sales support, accounts, and executive support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage general office administration, ensuring processes run smoothly across the business
* Oversee purchasing and procurement activities, liaising with suppliers
* Support compliance activities including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
* Provide HR administrative support (holiday records, contracts, etc.)
* Handle invoicing and assist with general accounts administration
* Support the executive team with scheduling, calendars, and general assistance
* Provide sales administration support including order processing and supplier liaison
About You * Strong administration background, ideally with experience in manufacturing or a similar environment
* Knowledge of procurement and supply chain
* Organised and proactive, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners
* A flexible, hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved across the business
