Client Relationship Manager (Paraplanner)
Altrincham/Hybrid
Salary to £35,000 + full exam support
We are delighted to be recruiting for a professional and proactive Client Relationship Manager to support the Managing Director of a specialist sports division. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical knowledge and relationship-building skills to take on a key role within a highly respected financial planning environment.
In this position, you will act as the central point of contact for clients, advisers, and support teams. You will provide essential paraplanning, administrative, and analytical support - enabling the Financial Planner to focus on developing relationships and delivering exceptional client service. You will also build your own client relationships to ensure smooth operational delivery and an outstanding client experience.
The Role
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day client interactions, providing technical research, preparing recommendations, and overseeing the implementation of advice. You’ll work closely with the Financial Planner to ensure that clients receive tailored, compliant, and high-quality financial planning solutions.
Principal Accountabilities:
*Manage daily client relationships, providing updates and proactively addressing queries.
*Attend client meetings with the Financial Planner and produce accurate meeting notes.
*Collaborate with the Financial Planner to define recommendations aligned with client goals.
*Conduct research and analysis on suitable financial planning products and services.
*Write detailed recommendation reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
*Oversee the timely implementation of all recommendations and planning actions.
*Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory developments, and log all CPD accordingly.
*Apply Consumer Duty principles to ensure clients receive positive and optimal outcomes.
Essential Requirements
*Strong knowledge of financial planning products and investment funds relevant to the role.
*Working knowledge of Voyant or similar cashflow modelling tools.
*Experience with FE Analytics and Selectapension.
*Ability to build strong, effective working relationships with advisers and support teams.
*Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4).
Desirable Requirements
*Chartered Financial Planner qualification (Level 6).
