Service Advisor – Repairs & Service Garage
*Location: Bournemouth
*Job Type: Full-Time
*Salary: £30,000
Join my client at a well-established automotive service centre in Bournemouth, renowned for high-quality repairs and servicing. I am looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Service Advisor to support both the front office and back office operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Front Office Duties:
*Welcome customers and handle enquiries in person, by phone, and email.
*Manage bookings and maintain the service schedule.
*Prepare job cards and update customer records.
*Process invoices and payments.
*Keep customers informed about job progress and completion.
*Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
Back Office Duties:
*Assist with ordering parts and liaising with suppliers.
*Monitor and manage stock levels.
*Support with general admin tasks including filing and data entry.
*Coordinate workflow between technicians and front office.
*Ensure compliance with health & safety and garage procedures.
*Assist with basic bookkeeping and reporting tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in a garage, automotive, or customer service setting is a plus.
*Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Comfortable using computers and willing to learn garage software.
*A proactive, flexible attitude and team spirit.
*Ability to work independently and take initiative.
