Payroll Manager
Are you a payroll professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy? Our Ashford-based company is looking for a Payroll Manager to lead and manage our payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.
As Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and company policies. You’ll work closely with HR and Finance teams to maintain accurate records and deliver a seamless payroll experience.
Key Duties
*Manage end-to-end payroll for all employees, including starters and leavers.
*Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and statutory requirements.
*Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
*Maintain payroll systems and update employee records.
*Handle PAYE, NI, pensions, and other statutory deductions.
*Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams.
*Resolve payroll queries promptly and professionally.
*Liaise with external auditors and pension providers.
*Implement process improvements and maintain data security.
*Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation.
Educational Requirements
*Essential: *CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) qualification or equivalent.
*Preferred: *Degree or diploma in Payroll Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
*Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and pension schemes.
