Professional Indemnity Lawyer (4-7 years’)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced lawyer (4+ years’) to join a growing insurance litigation team based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is a key role within a highly regarded practice known for handling complex and high-value disputes across the UK and internationally.
The Role
This position offers exposure to a wide variety of insurance-related matters, including:
*Professional indemnity claims (defending finance professionals, solicitors, brokers and others)
*Coverage disputes, particularly linked to construction and commercial risks
*Insurance-related advisory work for major clients in the sector
You will work closely with a prestigious client base, including leading insurers and brokers, delivering commercially focused advice while building strong client relationships. The team has a collaborative and supportive culture, offering scope to develop your own professional network and expertise.
About You
*Ideally 4-7 years’ PQE (Scots qualified, E&W, or dual qualified)
*Solid background in professional indemnity, financial lines, or broader insurance litigation
*Strong drafting, judgment and project management skills
*Keen to grow your practice and pursue dual qualification (if applicable)
