An established and fast-growing renewables & infrastructure asset management company is looking for a confident and commercially minded Senior Accountant to join their team. Following the acquisition of a UK wind portfolio, the business is expanding and offers strong progression, broad exposure, and genuine ownership within a supportive finance structure.
This role sits within the service company that manages assets post-transaction—working closely with investors, lenders and operational teams. You’ll work with both onshore and offshore wind assets across the UK.
Ideal for someone coming from practice (ACA/ACCA) with 2–3 years’ post-qualified experience, who enjoys being client-facing, solving problems, and presenting financial information clearly. Renewables experience is preferred, but broader infrastructure experience is welcome.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as first point of contact for financial information across a portfolio of SPVs.
*Build strong relationships with investors, lenders, and project stakeholders.
*Prepare management accounts, variance analysis and commercial insights.
*Oversee ledgers, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and VAT/CIS submissions.
*Prepare statutory accounts and lead the audit process.
*Maintain financial/operating models, budgets and distribution forecasts.
*Present finance reports at quarterly Board Meetings.
*Support the integration of a newly acquired wind business.
*Manage company secretarial tasks for SPVs (minutes, filings, tracking).
What you’ll bring:
*ACA/ACCA qualified with 2–3 years PQE (practice-trained welcome).
*Confident communicator who enjoys client-side interaction.
*Experience with renewables or infrastructure assets (renewables preferred).
*Strong technical foundation with a commercial, solutions-driven mindset.
*Immediately available
