Purchase Ledger Clerk
*Job Type: Full-time
*Location: Taunton
*Salary: £25,000-£26,000
Are you currently working in customer service or administration and looking to take your first step into finance?
Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with an established business in Taunton who are looking for a Purchase Ledger on a 12-month FTC to join their team.
Full training will be provided, and you will use your organisational skills and attention to detail to manage supplier invoices and payments while learning the foundations of accounting.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Accurately process supplier invoices and input data into the finance system.
*Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
*Assist with supplier queries via phone and email.
*Support the finance team with payment runs and reconciliations.
*Help with month-end tasks and reporting.
*Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
