About the role:

We’re currently looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a school-based nursery in Bognor Regis from January 2026 for a maternity cover lasting until the end of the academic year.
This is a term-time only position, working within a nurturing nursery setting that’s part of a well-established and supportive primary school. You’ll be joining a dedicated EYFS team committed to providing children with the best possible start to their education.
Key responsibilities:
*Supporting the teaching and care of nursery-aged children in line with EYFS framework
*Creating a stimulating and safe learning environment
*Working collaboratively with teachers and other practitioners to deliver engaging activities
*Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
*Contributing to observations, assessments, and planning to support each child’s development
The ideal applicant will have:
*A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare
*Previous experience working in a nursery or EYFS setting
*A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A caring, proactive, and reliable attitude
