Job Description:
Position: Senior HR Advisor
Contract: 3-6 Month Fixed Term (Full-Time)
Location: Ipswich (Onsite)
Salary: £45,000
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to join our client’s team and play a pivotal role in shaping a positive workplace culture. As a Senior HR Advisor, you’ll provide expert support across all aspects of HR, ensuring compliance with employment law and delivering initiatives that enhance employee engagement and business performance.
What You’ll Do
*Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, grievances, and performance issues.
*Oversee absence management processes and maintain accurate records.
*Arrange occupational health referrals and health assessments.
*Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding experience.
*Partner with managers to deliver effective recruitment campaigns and selection processes.
*Coordinate interviews, offers, and onboarding to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
*Maintain up-to-date employee records and produce HR reports.
*Analyse workforce data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
*Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating development programmes.
*Review and update HR policies in line with current legislation.
What We’re Looking For
*CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience.
*Proven background in a generalist HR role.
*Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
*Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
