The key responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer - Nightshift role are:
*Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment during night shifts.
*Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
*Follow planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
*Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
*Collaborate with the production team to address any equipment-related issues.
*Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
*Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to maintain productivity.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer - Nightshift worker should have:
*Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
*Experience in maintaining machinery within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
*Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
*Ability to work independently during night shifts.
*Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards.
*Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:
*What an injection moulding machine is and does.
*Have an understanding of what Chillers, Compressors, Material Systems are.
*HVAC System Pressure.
