Our client is a specialist wildlife and adventure travel company providing tailor-made holidays to Africa, South-East Asia, Europe, Latin America, Oceania, the Indian Ocean islands, and selected wildlife destinations around the world.
Their main focus is African safaris and small group wildlife and adventure tour and they’re now looking for a dedicated and passionate sales consultant to join them as an Africa Safari Specialist.
This is a fabulous opportunity for those with indepth, tour operations and sales experience, with proven experience creating, selling and managing wildlife holidays and in return, our client can offer a generous starting salary up to £35k plus commission and travel industry benefits.
This is a fully home based role Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm and our client will also consider those looking for part-time hours.

Role of Africa Safari Specialist:
*Design bespoke safari travel itineraries based on clients’ requests and preference
*Engage with clients via phone, email, and video calls to assess their requirements
*Offer advice on destinations/itinerary as appropriate and to ensure the client experiences their perfect holiday
*Manage each booking from start to finish, offering exceptional levels of customer service at all times
*Attend occasional fam trips and represent the business at UK events
Skills required for the role:
*Proven experience in creating, selling and managing wildlife holidays from a tour operator perspective
*Firsthand travel experience in Africa is a huge advantage
*Strong organizational skills to manage complex itineraries and multi-sector bookings
*Strong sales ability, with the ability to build rapport with clients
*Confident and engaging telephone manner
*Knowledge of spreadsheets and tour operation administration processes
*Desire to develop role to managerial level
