Job Description:
SF Recruitment are looking for a Buyer to join their client in Burton on a temp to perm basis.
This is a full-time office based role working 37.5 hours per week paying £35k. To be considered for this role it is essential you have previous Buying experience to support fast-moving projects. You’ll take ownership of sourcing materials, equipment and subcontracted services that meet project delivery requirements, all while ensuring value for money.
Duties will include:
- Negotiating competitive pricing
- Managing lead times
-Building supplier relationships
- Ensuring projects supplied on time
- Ensuring suppliers meet regulations
The role involves maintaining supplier records, ensuring compliance with regulations, resolving delivery and quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement across procurement processes.
