Job Description:
Teaching Assistant
Prospero Teaching is proud to be supporting a nurturing and inclusive Primary school in Wiltshire, in the recruitment of a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support primary-aged pupils from Year 1-6.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, progress, and wellbeing. You will assist with delivering learning activities and help create a positive and focused classroom environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting individual pupils and small groups within the classroom
*Assisting teachers with planning and delivering learning activities
*Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils’ social development
*Helping to maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
*Building positive relationships with pupils to support their confidence and engagement
Contract Details: *Location: Wiltshire (near Salisbury)
*Position: Teaching Assistant - Primary School
*Start Date: ASAP
*Contract Type: Permanent or long-term supply (with potential for permanent placement)
*Working Hours: 8:30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
*Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
