About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Headteacher to lead a specialist SEMH school in Salisbury. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving high standards of teaching and learning, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring the best outcomes for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
Responsibilities:
*Provide strategic leadership and vision for the school.
*Ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all areas.
*Oversee safeguarding, behaviour management, and SEND provision.
*Manage staff development and performance.
*Work closely with governors, parents, and external agencies to support student progress.
Requirements:
*Proven leadership experience within an SEMH or SEN setting.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and NPQH (or willingness to complete).
*Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and SEND legislation.
*Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
