About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teacher to join a specialist setting in Basingstoke. This role involves teaching and supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, creating a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes academic progress and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.
*Implement behaviour management strategies and individual education plans.
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other professionals.
*Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
*Experience teaching students with SEMH needs (specialist or mainstream settings).
*Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*A passion for supporting vulnerable learners and promoting positive outcomes.
