About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in Basingstoke. This role involves working closely with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing tailored support to help them engage in learning and achieve their potential.
Responsibilities:
*Support students with SEMH needs in both classroom and one-to-one settings.
*Assist with implementing individual education plans and behaviour strategies.
*Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
*Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to meet student needs.
Requirements:
*Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (school-based experience preferred).
*Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
*Ability to remain calm and empathetic in challenging situations.
*A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
Hours & Pay:
*Full-time, term-time position.
*Competitive salary (to be discussed).
