We’re looking for a proactive Finance Manager to join our central finance team supporting 20 academies. This is a pivotal role where you’ll lead a team of five Finance Assistants, oversee financial operations, and deliver insightful analysis to drive strategic decisions.

Description
*Line manage a team of Finance Assistants, ensuring performance and development
*Oversee OPEX and CAPEX processes across multiple sites
*Deliver accurate month-end reporting, audits, and financial returns
*Conduct in-depth financial analysis and benchmarking
*Drive process improvements using advanced Excel skills
*Collaborate with senior leaders and academy finance leads
Profile
A successful PQ Finance Manager should have:
*Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
*Proven experience managing a finance team (ideally 5+)
*Strong knowledge of OPEX/CAPEX controls
*Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS; macros desirable)
*Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work at pace
*Adaptable and quick learner (academy trust experience desirable)
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £47,000 to £51,000 per annum.
