Our client is an established law firm based in Hertfordshire, currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and expansion. They are seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team and contribute to a progressive practice that places strong value on its staff.
As a Legal Secretary, you will work alongside a supportive and friendly team of solicitors, partners, and fellow support staff within the residential property department.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting a dynamic solicitor in all aspects of residential conveyancing
• Filing stamp duty returns at HMRC
• Preparing Transfers and AP1/RX1/DS1s, and removing notices and restrictions from title
• Completing Land Registry applications – OS1/OS2s
• Preparing invoices, completion statements and billing
• Ordering searches
• Sending letters and emails to solicitors and lenders
• Providing general secretarial support
Key Skills & Experience:
*2+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing as a Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office
*Fast and accurate typing skills
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities
