Contracts Manager£35,000 to £40,000

Start Date: ASAP
Join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in managing existing customers while exploring new opportunities within the department. Using BI data, you will identify trends and changes in customer spending, allowing the business to proactively address potential revenue loss and enhance customer retention.
What You Will Do*Qualify and log all inbound opportunities, closing lower-medium value ones and supporting the CM team with higher value opportunities.
*Manage low to medium value Processing customers, ensuring high service quality and fostering organic growth.
*Analyse trends in processing customers and follow up with those who have reduced or stopped tipping waste.
*Manage the Processing bid pipeline, completing initial stage tasks such as PQQs and ROIs.
*Oversee monthly reporting for Local Authority customers and handle compliance visits on customer sites.
*Support Social Value events and contribute to the annual price review process.
What You Bring*Experience managing accounts and customers.
*Proven ability to drive performance and efficiency.
*Experience handling challenging situations, including TTTs and price increases.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and report on performance.
*Effective communication and time management skills.
*Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
What Would Make You Stand Out*Experience in the waste industry.
*Minimum three years’ experience managing customers, accounts, and sales.
*Formal qualification or personal interest in sustainability.
*Business management qualification.
Experience Required*Minimum three years managing customers, accounts, and sales.
Education*GCSE level in Maths and English is desirable.
