We are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join a vibrant school in Godalming on a temporary basis for one year. This role involves teaching the National Curriculum and supporting individual student needs, making it ideal for someone passionate about educational development and drama.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging drama lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
*Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
*Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing timely feedback to encourage and motivate learners.
*Maintain discipline in accordance with the school rules and disciplinary systems.
*Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
*Support the emotional and social development of students, addressing any individual needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience working in UK schools.
*Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Drama.
*Proven ability to create and maintain a positive learning environment.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
