Cover and Timetable Manager
Location: Bath
Contract: Full-time, temporary (ongoing) - December start date
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting education? We are seeking a Cover and Timetable Manager to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our school operations.
About the Role
As Cover and Timetable Manager, you will be responsible for:
*Constructing and maintaining the whole-school timetable, including in-year adjustments.
*Coordinating daily cover arrangements for staff absence, integrating cover seamlessly with the live timetable.
*Managing complex scheduling processes and producing accurate plans under tight deadlines.
*Leading options/choices processes and converting outputs into timetable blocks.
*Overseeing exam invigilation rotas and supporting related processes.
*Providing timetable analytics and scenario modelling for leadership teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
*Minimum of five GCSEs (Grade C or above) including English and Maths.
*Strong organisational and time management skills; calm and decisive under pressure.
*Demonstrable experience in complex scheduling and coordination.
*Confident user of MIS systems and office applications with high accuracy and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills with a courteous, solutions-focused approach.
*Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality requirements.
Desirable
*Experience with school MIS systems such as Arbor, Bromcom, Edval, TimeTabler, or Nova-T6.
*Knowledge of exam invigilation processes and rota planning.
*Proven experience in line management and stakeholder engagement.
*Awareness of budget management and value-for-money procurement.

*Calm and decisive during peak periods.
*Supportive of the Christian ethos and willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
