Job Description:
Residential Conveyancing Executive
*Job Type: Full-time
*Location: East London
*Salary: £30k - £35k
We are seeking a skilled Residential Conveyancer to handle all types of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, redeeming help to buy loans, and transfer of equity matters. This role requires managing a caseload of residential transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring efficient progress and compliance with legal standards.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Independently manage a caseload of residential transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in line with client expectations.
*Draft and review contract packs for freehold and leasehold titles, confidently replying to enquiries and raising necessary enquiries on a sale.
*Advise clients on legal aspects of property transactions, including covenants/restrictions, Building Safety Act, SDLT, and leasehold/freehold titles.
*Ensure regulatory compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and adhere to anti-money laundering (AML), client care, and professional conduct standards.
*Maintain accurate and timely records on the case management system, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and deadlines are met.
*Deliver a high level of client service, keeping clients informed of progress, managing expectations, and dealing promptly with queries or concerns.
*Perform other reasonable duties within the general scope of the job title, at the Director’s discretion.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in residential conveyancing.
*Strong understanding of the legal aspects of property transactions.
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent client service.
*Proficiency in using case management systems.
*Compliance with SRA, AML, and other regulatory standards.
Hybrid working is available after 3 months.
