Cover and Timetable Manager – Make a Real Impact in Education!

As Cover and Timetable Manager, you’ll be the backbone of school operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Your work will directly impact staff, students, and the overall learning experience.
Your day-to-day will include:
? Building and maintaining the whole-school timetable, including in-year adjustments.
? Coordinating daily cover for staff absences and integrating it seamlessly into the live timetable.
? Managing complex scheduling processes and delivering accurate plans under tight deadlines.
? Leading options/choices processes and converting outputs into timetable blocks.
? Overseeing exam invigilation rotas and supporting related processes.
? Providing timetable analytics and scenario modelling for leadership teams.
What We’re Looking For
? Minimum of five GCSEs (Grade C or above) including English and Maths.
? Strong organisational and time management skills; calm and decisive under pressure.
? Experience in complex scheduling and coordination.
? Confident user of MIS systems and office applications with exceptional accuracy.
? Excellent communication skills and a solutions-focused approach.
? Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality requirements.
Desirable:
*Familiarity with MIS systems like Arbor, Bromcom, Edval, TimeTabler, or Nova-T6.
*Knowledge of exam invigilation processes and rota planning.
*Experience in line management and stakeholder engagement.
*Awareness of budget management and procurement.
