Personal Assistant / Office Manager
Manchester
6–12 Month FTC (potential to go permanent)
Full-time, fully office-based
Are you an experienced PA or Office Manager with a background in a busy manufacturing, engineering or similarly hands-on environment? If you enjoy supporting senior leaders while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, this could be an excellent opportunity.
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced, site-led setting. You’ll provide senior-level administrative and PA support while acting as the main point of contact for office coordination, facilities tasks, and general operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee the smooth running of the office, including facilities coordination and day-to-day operational support
*Provide PA support to senior leaders, including diary management, travel arrangements and general coordination.
*Act as a central contact for staff and external suppliers, ensuring the workplace remains compliant, safe and well-organised
*Support the wider management team with administrative tasks, documentation and project coordination
*Take ownership of office improvements, supplier liaison, facilities-related tasks and small operational projects
Key Requirements
*Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering or similar practical/operational environment is essential
*Previous experience in a PA, Office Manager or facilities-focused role
*Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced setting
*Confident supporting senior stakeholders
*Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
*Comfortable working full-time on site
