Job Description:
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time Science Teacher (any specialism) to join a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Manchester, starting January 2026, on a long-term/temp to perm basis, until at least the end of the summer term.

Pay: £ 168- £260 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term, temp to perm.
Start: 5th January 2026
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher (any specialism) to join a thriving and supportive school community in Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment.
As a Teacher of Science, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
*Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
*Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
*Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
*Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential
*Contribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiatives
The ideal Teacher of Science will:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with placement experience
*Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and child development
*Be confident in behaviour management and classroom organisation
*Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills to the role
*Have a commitment to raising achievement and supporting the wider school community
