Job Description:
Area Sales Manager - Candidates must have previous electrical wholesale experience.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced external sales manager with previous electrical wholesale/distribution experience to grow local area revenue by managing key, new and dormant accounts.
This role involves onsite clients visits to understand their needs, and propose tailored solutions.
You will be responsible for promoting and increasing sales of a wide range of industrial electrical products to a varied customer base base .
Focussing on providing a class-leading customer service and high-quality product lines you would be responsible for:
* Researching and identifying business opportunities through new, existing and dormant contacts within our customer base and your existing network.
* Fostering and developing relationships with key contacts within target customers
* Pre-arranging and scheduling face-to-face appointments with companies and their engineering and procurement departments to develop business!
In this role your desired skillset would include:
An electrical background and strong level of technical knowledge across the broad range of products and cables that we stock and supply.
The ability to learn on the job and assimilate knowledge quickly so that business opportunities can be recognised, and their potential be fulfilled on each visit.
The ability of converse meaningfully at all levels within a company and form lasting relationships with key decision-makers
Natural aptitude for profit-focussed negotiations with clients for mutual benefit and long-term business.
Competitive salary, exceptionally generous performance bonus/commission, company car, employees pension contributions.
Great scope to progress to management role.
