Sharp Consultancy is partnering with a leading Sheffield business in their search for a Finance Manager, to report directly into the Managing Director and Finance Director. The organisation work across national projects, inclusive of in-house design work, and a finance function that plays a central role in operational success including helping shape financial processes and improvements across the business.


Many of the senior team have progressed internally and now looking for a talented Finance Manager to support the next phase of expansion, with progression on offer for this position.


The Role:
Working from the Sheffield head office, taking responsibility for the full finance function, supported by a capable team the key responsibilities include:
*Managing and developing the finance team
*Producing monthly management accounts including variance analysis
*Project reporting - revenue recognition and project profitability analysis
*Budgeting, forecasting & strategic planning (short, medium, long term)
*Business partnering to Directors and across business
*Cashflow forecasting
*Job costing and WIP reconciliation
*Process & continuous improvement
*Enhancing systems and processes across finance and operational areas


About You
You will bring:
*Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
*Solid Excel capability (lookups, sumifs, pivot tables, etc.)
*Experience with job costing and WIP
*Enthusiasm, drive, and a desire to be part of a growing organisation
