Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
Contract: Full time, permanent

We’re working with a well-established, full-service law firm based in Leeds to recruit a confident and organised Commercial Property Legal Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workload and is looking to develop their skills within a highly respected real estate team.
THE ROLE
As a Commercial Property Legal Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and legal support to fee earners handling a broad range of commercial real estate matters. You’ll play an important part in ensuring transactions progress smoothly, supporting the team across acquisitions, disposals, leases, landlord and tenant matters, and commercial refinancing.
This is an ideal role for someone who is proactive, personable, and eager to build a career within commercial property law.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for:

Assisting with the preparation and drafting of legal documents and correspondence
*
Handling searches, enquiries and due diligence tasks
*
Managing and updating case files on the firm’s case management system
*
Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, agents, and other third parties
*
Supporting fee earners with post-completion processes, including applications and registrations
*
Organising meetings, maintaining diaries and ensuring deadlines are met
*
Conducting basic legal research when required
*
Providing general administrative support to the wider commercial property department
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will offer:

Previous experience in a legal support role (property experience beneficial but not essential)

Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to work
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
*
Confidence using legal software and Microsoft Office applications
*
A professional, friendly and collaborative attitude
