Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Litigation team and learn about other areas of law. This role offers an excellent pathway for aspiring solicitors, as a training contract will be offered to successful candidates. You will gain practical experience working on a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters while supporting our legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist solicitors with case preparation, including drafting letters, pleadings, and court documents.
*Conduct legal research and summarise findings for litigation cases.
*Manage case files, including correspondence, evidence, and document management.
*Liaise with clients, counsel, and other parties as required.
*Attend hearings, mediations, and client meetings where appropriate.
*Support the team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
*Participate in professional development opportunities provided through the training contract program.
Requirements:
*Strong academic background (law degree or equivalent, LLB, or GDL).
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*High attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Enthusiasm for pursuing a career in litigation.
*Previous paralegal or legal work experience is advantageous but not essential.
