We are a supporting a growing SME, known for their quality of products, innovation, and strong customer relationships. As they continue to scale, they are looking for a proactive Finance Manager to oversee the finance team and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee all daily finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation
*Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cashflow forecasts
*Lead budgeting and financial planning processes
*Manage year-end audit processes and liaise with external accountants
*Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT, HMRC filings, and financial regulations
*Improve financial controls, processes, and systems as the business grows
*Support commercial decision-making with analysis and recommendations
The Ideal Candidate
*Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent experience
*Strong experience in a management accountant role, ideally within an SME
*Excellent understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management
*Confident using accounting software
