Salary: Up to £24,200 (DOE) after six-month probation

Are you looking to join a dynamic and growing legal practice in the heart of Manchester? We are a busy multi-disciplinary law firm providing professional, personalised services to both private and commercial clients. Due to a period of significant expansion, we are seeking an enthusiastic Paralegal to join our team.
About the Role
In this role, you will handle Business Energy Claims or Undisclosed Commissions cases (similar to PPI/Plevin claims). You’ll work closely with supervisors and partners, gaining hands-on experience and the opportunity to progress your career. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
*Conduct pre-claim investigations, legal research, and initial case assessments
*Draft and edit client correspondence and court documents
*Liaise with clients, defendants’ representatives, and third parties
*Manage case files, calendars, and CRM records
*Support solicitors with legal tasks and administrative duties
*Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Skills & Experience
Essential:
*Law degree (LLB, MSc)
*Proven experience as a Paralegal
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure
*Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable:
*1 year’s experience in a paralegal role
*Knowledge of financial mis-selling and experience in file handling
