Senior Manager- Model Validation
Hybrid (Birmingham)
£65K-£80K
Key Responsibilities:
*Leading and delivering high-quality analysis, independent reviews & challenge of the mathematical and theoretical soundness of models; model compliance with relevant regulation; data quality, model monitoring and performance; model documentation; model implementation; and model use
*Leading and developing the IMV Infrastructure and framework, and supporting the review, maintenance and management of all model governance policies and standards relating to IMV
*Engaging with model developers, owners and implementers on specific areas of model development, model changes, performance and implementation,
*Preparing clear, accurate and timely reports and communicating to and representation at appropriate internal governance bodies
*Support the development of team members to reach their full potential.
Key Requirements:
*Highly numerate, excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills,
*Proven experience of applying statistical modelling and analytics across the account life cycle,
*Good knowledge of IRB, IFRS 9, Model Risk Management (MRM) regulation and AI techniques,
*Proven experience of coding (model development and implementation),
*Proven ability to work independently and support/manage the wider team
