KS3/4 MATHEMATICS TEACHER

January 2026 start

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Mathematics Teacher for a long term role, starting January 2026. You will be responsible for teaching Mathematics, both to KS3 and KS4.This position could run until July 2026.

The school has recently appointed a new Headteacher and there have been positive changes implemented across the school. The Maths department, although fairly small, is a welcoming department with a long-standing Head of Faculty in situ. Resources are plentiful and of a high quality, with lots of shared work schemes available.

You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
*UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
*Mathematics Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
*Previous experience working in a UK school
*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
