Role details
A leading national brand in the wholesale distribution industry is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in supporting operational and sales leaders, influencing key business decisions, and driving financial performance across the organisation.
Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner
*Analyse sales, margin, and stock performance across the business, identifying key trends and variances, and collaborate with the sales and operations teams to implement actions that optimise profitability and inventory efficiency.
*Partner with operational and sales leaders to challenge assumptions, support decision-making, and maximise opportunities while minimising risk.
*Carry out comprehensive operational analysis to uncover cost-saving opportunities and ensure optimal allocation of resources throughout the organisation.
*Monitor branch P&L performance closely, spotting trends or discrepancies early and recommending corrective actions where needed.
What the successful candidate will bring
*Fully qualified accountant.
*Possess strong interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with colleagues across different departments.
*Stock and margin experince.
*Display confidence in preparing clear reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
