Our client is looking for a practical, motivated Landscape Officer to help maintain safe, clean, and attractive estates across the district. This is a hands-on outdoor role working with a range of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality environmental and landscaping work. A driving licence is essential.
Key Duties
*Tree maintenance, hedge pruning, grass cutting, shrub work and leaf clearance
*Garden clearances, including removal of old sheds and other structures
*Supporting emergency response during adverse weather, including gritting, sandbagging, etc.
*Operating tools, machinery and mini diggers for soft and hard landscaping
*Working with estate teams and on improvement projects
What You Need
*Mechanical Plant Certificate (e.g., mini digger/JCB)
*Experience using powered tools (strimmers, hedge cutters, chainsaws)
*Good customer service and communication skills
*Awareness of health & safety
*Flexible approach and teamwork
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
*Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours/standby shifts
