Job Description:
Senior Paraplanner
*Annual Salary: Competitive
*Location: Southwest
*Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Future hybrid working possibilities)
Join a leading financial advisory and wealth management firm with over 30 years of experience and a strong presence within a major financial network. We are looking for a Senior Paraplanner who is determined, eager to take on new challenges, and aspires to become a future financial adviser within our firm.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee the preparation of high-quality financial advice, ensuring it is delivered efficiently.
*Conduct comprehensive financial research independently using approved tools, covering a wide range of products and investments.
*Attend client meetings, both face-to-face and via video, to take detailed notes.
*Prepare complex financial planning reports across various advice types and investment solutions.
*Collaborate closely with Advisers to ensure optimal client outcomes and keep them updated on case progress.
*Maintain up-to-date client information, provider contacts, and documentation in back-office systems.
*Manage your diary effectively to meet SLAs and performance metrics.
*Adhere to all operational procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
*Provide support and guidance to the team, maintaining a positive and constructive approach.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum five years of experience as a paraplanner, qualified to Level 4.
*Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards chartered/advanced qualifications.
*Experience within an IFA environment and familiarity with the I.O. Technology platform.
*Strong knowledge and experience in personal financial planning, including Protection products.
*Excellent communication, report-writing, and numerical skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and tech-savvy.
*Must have own transport for client/network meetings away from the office.
