Regional Business Development Manager – Southern
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 + Commission (OTE £75k+)

With ambitious plans to become the global market leader in our niche, we are expanding our team and seeking a driven Regional Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across the Southern region.
The Role
You will take ownership of a £3m+ regional portfolio, driving revenue growth by increasing customer spend and securing new business across two to three key industries. Working closely with an internal support colleague, you’ll focus on building strong relationships, progressing opportunities, and delivering gross profit growth in your territory.
To ensure alignment and collaboration, you’ll attend our office at least once per month — ideally weekly.
Key Responsibilities
*Grow revenue and gross profit across a defined territory (South of Birmingham downwards)
*Increase share of customer spend and secure new accounts
*Build strong relationships with contractors, merchants, manufacturers, and housebuilders
*Collaborate with internal support on quotes, samples, CRM accuracy, and follow-ups
*Deliver presentations, product demos, and tailored proposals
*Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
Requirements
*Proven B2B sales experience in Business Development or Regional Sales
*Strong track record of winning business and growing revenue
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*Industry experience in construction, housebuilding, merchants, or manufacturing
*Ability to manage a large territory and travel most days
*Comfortable visiting the Hereford office monthly (ideally weekly)

*£55,000–£65,000 base salary
