Sales Account Manager
Independent, family run media company established over 30 years publish a number of market-leading, niche magazines for highway, farming, vehicles and machinery.
They are looking for an office-based Sales Account Manager to join their exisiting sales team selling advertising space in print and online. They enjoy a friendly, professional and team-orientated work ethos and culture without targets or sales pressure.
Competitive basic salary uncapped commission.
The Sales Account Manager will have previous sales experience ideally within advertising or media however that’s not essential, and more important is someone who is self motivated and positive with great work ethics.
Persistence, determination and self-motivation are key as is the ability to engage with clients to build ongoing business relationships.
The role includes business development, account management, responding to incoming email and telephone enquiries and building good working relationships with prospects and advertisers. In addition you will be liaising with other departments including editorial, to ensure the smooth running of the website and magazine and representing the company at exhibitions, conferences and events.
Monday-Friday office based and benefits include competitive salary based on experience and commission.
