We are seeking an outstanding Geography Teacher, with an opportunity to lead our thriving and successful Geography department. This role is ideal for a well-qualified, creative, and inspirational teacher who has a genuine passion for geography and a desire to inspire this in others.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Lead the Geography department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement.
*Develop and enhance the Geography curriculum creatively.
*Inspire high standards in the classroom through innovative and engaging teaching methods.
*Participate actively in the school’s co-curricular programme, contributing to the broader educational experience of the students.
*Collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, parents, and the wider community to foster a supportive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A well-qualified teacher with a strong academic background in Geography.
*Proven track record of success in teaching Geography at iGCSE and A Level.
*Firm grasp of curricular developments in Geography.
*Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse group of stakeholders.
*Creative, flexible, and enthusiastic about participating in and contributing to the school’s co-curricular activities.
